Whichever stairlift you choose it will include the following features:

• Toggle switches that are easy to operate – up for up and down for down

• Safety cut out with sensitive edges – anything in the way it cuts out until the object is moved – your safety our priority

• Swivel seat – the user is swivelled safely onto the landing

• Fold up seat and footplate – leaves more space for other stair users

• Diagnostic Display – displays a number or letter to analyse what is wrong with the stairlift with ease – speeds up the diagnostic problems to aid the engineers, and the user can sometimes get the lift going again with ease

• Hand held remotes that call the lift to the user or where the lift is needed – great if two people use the stairlift and the lift is at the opposite end of staircase to where it is needed or for example if the stairlift has been used to carry washing up and down, the vacuum cleaner, or the breakfast tray – handy things these stairlifts!
